PE at O’Fallon, ILLINOIS YMCA for 13 yrs and up
I talked with the director at the Y and he is willing to do a PE/Fitness class for ages 13 and up on Thursday afternoons from 2-3.  For the first session we would start Nov 3rd and meet the 3rd,  Nov 10, Nov 17 (no class Nov 24th – Thanksgiving) Dec 1, Dec 8 and Dec 15.  He gave me the cost for 8 weeks, (which is $30 per participant and $25 for each additional participant from the same family), and told me the price for 6 sessions would be the cost per session times 6.  So the price for 6 weeks would be $22.50 per participant and $18.75 for each additional participant from the same family. (I figured out that price, so they may round it off).  It is the same price for members or non-members.  The non-members would have to sign a waiver.  If we get the interest, we can continue this throughout the school year.
We need to have 10 people confirmed to have this class, so if you could forward this to anyone you know that might be interested, that would be great.  I know we have 6 with our families, another family with 2 children is interested but I need to confirm with her, so we only need 2-4 more people to make it a go.  It can also be more than 10, so we won’t cut it off there. Please let me know about any interest you have.
Thank you!

The posted events are open to all homeschoolers in the St. Louis, MO, area (including St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Franklin County, and Jefferson County in MO, and Madison County, Monroe County, and St. Clair County in IL, and surrounding regions). Those marked with an asterisk (*) do not take place within the target area for this list, but are open to all homeschoolers who live in the target area. NOTE: Inclusion in this list does not necessarily indicate endorsement by the blog owner. I try to include as many events or classes I know of in the Greater St. Louis area that would be of special interest to homeschoolers. Some of these events come from a distinctively “Christian” perspective, while others are purely “secular” in nature. If you see things that you would not be particularly interested in, just ignore them and look for the things that do appeal to you.
