SATURDAY – King Arthur Presentation & $29 Prom Dresses

Don’t miss this FREE St. Louis Classical Society program about the “true” historical King Arthur! Bruce Sikes and others will be giving the presentation at the Mid-County Library in Clayton THIS Saturday, March 10th from 1:30 – 3:00 pm. There will be knights in armor fighting with authentic steel swords…and much more! No reservations required. The Mid-County Branch Library is located in downtown Clayton, Missouri at 7821 Maryland Ave., 63105. The library has its own free parking garage. Call 314-994-3300 for more details.
Note: Bruce Sikes is a true “Renaissance Man” and he and his Academy Fencing Club has been a favorite of homeschoolers for many years!  Last year, Bruce judged the “Knight” competition at the Homelink British Faire, and presented his popular “Middle Ages” talk in the British Lit & Comp classes. Hey Prom goers!
Karen Moleski just informed us of a great deal happening THIS SATURDAY, March 10.
It’s normally for underprivileged girls, but they are opening to the public for one day only.
It’s called the Cinderella Project and you can view the event right here: If you jump back to the homepage, you can also see a video. It’s in Mid-Rivers Mall, but might be worth the drive to get a great prom dress for $29.00.
