EXPO UPDATE
We posted on the Expo website and Facebook page, but for those that haven’t seen it, we wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you that supported this year’s Greater St. Louis Area Home Educators Expo! We are SO grateful to the hard-working volunteers, and to everyone that attended seminars and shopped in the Exhibitor Hall! Without your support it would be impossible to keep the prices low while bringing in such helpful speakers and exhibitors. In this day of “virtual” homeschool groups, seminars, and shopping, it is wonderful to connect with other homeschoolers in a “real” and meaningful way!
We had a record-breaking year and are already planning for our 10th Expo on March 19-21, 2015! Many speakers book up over a year in advance, so now is the time for scheduling. We REALLY want your feedback to help us decide on speakers, exhibitors and seminar topics! Please take the time to fill out the online 2014 Evaluation Form on the website (you can remain anonymous!).
We are also starting a month-long “speaker suggestion” contest on the Expo Facebook Page – you have a chance to win $25 in 2015 Expo Cash if you comment with a speaker you would like to hear. You can also view the albums of 2014 Expo pictures on Facebook taken by Pam Weatherford’s Homelink Photography students. They did a great job in capturing Expo memories!
Don’t forget to check the Expo website for links to helpful Speaker Handouts that you can download and print. You can also purchase the CD’s or MP3’s of all the seminars you missed from Rhino Technologies. They are in the middle of website updates and will post our seminars under “STL Expo” when they are ready for purchase.
Remember to keep your Expo Booklet/Program this year as a handy reference tool! It contains the “Business and Service Guide” section and also the “Looking for Homeschool Support?” pages.
