I am so sorry but the first Intermediate level camp filled last week. We try to limit the number of girls on each court to 18. Otherwise, there’s not enough room to play and it starts to become chaos. But the good news is that God is good and we opened a second session, Intermediate Camp II,  that you are welcome to sign up for. It will be in the evening, 6:30 – 9:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at Chatham Bible Church on Howdershell. To get there from Hwy 270, you exit at McDonnel Blvd., turn West, and it’s a mile down on the left. The cost is $88 per player. There are scholarships for those in hardship situations like husband lost his job, widow, single parent, etc. The description follows:
INTERMEDIATE CAMP II – June 23, 24, 26, 27, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday  6:30 – 9:30 pm at Chatham Bible Church on Howdershell, just 1 mile from Hwy 270
We are pleased to announce that this court will be coached by Meaghan Murphy of the Elite Volleyball Club. Meaghan is a pleasant and gifted coach who has been trained in the GOLD Square methodology that has become so popular on the East and West Coasts. This intermediate level is for those players who played 2 or more years on teams but still need to learn positions, how to move on the court, systems, and review proper form in all skills. Conditioning will be included as well as preparation for upcoming tryouts. Coach Meaghan loves to have fun and incorporates neat games and contests in her teaching. Each session will end with game playing.
So this level is perfect for someone who has played at church or Rec Plex, the YMCA, CYC, or Renaud but now wants to learn what they learn at the next level. Meaghan coaches for the Club Elite and really knows how to break all down and make it simple.
I think I might already have 5 girls on the waiting list from the last camp for this camp so PLEEEEEEASE if you’re interested send in your application and check right away. It will be attached below and should say Intermediate Camp II at the top.
I am happy to answer any questions you might have.
Thanks, Patty Yager, Athletic Director and Varsity Coach – 314-566-3667

The posted events are open to all homeschoolers in the St. Louis, MO, area (including St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Lincoln County, Franklin County, and Jefferson County in MO, and Madison County, Monroe County, and St. Clair County in IL, and surrounding regions).
NOTE: Inclusion in this list does not necessarily indicate endorsement by the blog owner. I try to include as many events or classes I know of in the Greater St. Louis area that would be of special interest to homeschoolers. Some of these events come from a distinctively “Christian” perspective, while others are purely “secular” in nature. If you see things that you would not be particularly interested in, just ignore them and look for the things that do appeal to you.
