This interactive traveling exhibition focuses on teaching teens and tweens about financial literacy through an adventure-themed storyline, interactive iPad content, and other fun activities. Thinking Money explores themes like wants vs. needs, preparing for a rainy/sunny day, imagining your future self, and avoiding financial fraud. UCPL is one of only two libraries in Missouri — and the only one in the St. Louis area — chosen to host this exhibit, which was developed by the FINRA Investor Education Foundation and the American Library Association.
Thinking Money is accessible at any time the Library is open, and is free. University City Public Library is located at 6701 Delmar Blvd., University City, MO, 63130. For information call 314-727-3150.

Thinking Money is funded by a grant from the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. Both exhibits will be on display in The Gallery at University City Public Library through June 24. The Library is located at 6701 Delmar Blvd, University City, MO, 63130. The posted events are open to all homeschoolers in the St. Louis, MO, area (including St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Lincoln County, Franklin County, and Jefferson County in MO, and Madison County, Monroe County, and St. Clair County in IL, and surrounding regions).
NOTE: Inclusion in this list does not necessarily indicate endorsement by the blog owner. I try to include as many events or classes I know of in the Greater St. Louis area that would be of special interest to homeschoolers. Some of these events come from a distinctively “Christian” perspective, while others are purely “secular” in nature. If you see things that you would not be particularly interested in, just ignore them and look for the things that do appeal to you
